☰ projects

UDCIS Scheduler

ReactTS website made to help UD Computer Science students plan their college career. Students can create multiple plans where they can add and structure classes across each semester. Built on the UD course catalog, and made in a group using Agile framework.

Serial Port Monitor

Windows app to monitor a RS232 data stream from a serial port device. The user can enter a threshold and is notified if the data ever changes by more than that threshold. Originally built to be used when surveying the seabed and measuring depth.

Analysis of Radiolaria

NIH sponsored research lead by Dr. John Jungck at the University of Delaware. I studied several Radiolaria samples and discovered a pattern in their structure that may assist in their identification. I presented my findings using VR and 3D projection.

WINDOWZ

Research as a part of the Gleghorn Lab. I am contributing to WINDOWZ: a resource efficient and user friendly biomedical image segmentation pipeline powered by convoultional neural networks.

UNIX Shell

A basic UNIX shell written in C. that is able to run UNIX built in commands (ls, cd, pwd etc.), and user programs. Created for a university operating systems class.

Beholder

ReactTS website I started developing shortly after getting back into DnD with my friends from university. I wanted to learn REST and GraphQL while sharpening my web development skills, and this has helped in all aspects! Still currently under development.

♫ playlists

beans 1

Green is a good color for this playlist. This was when I started to keep track of what songs were in my rotation for a given time period. Originally I wanted to make a playlist monthly or every [a set amount of time] but I'm terrible at making regular updates to things that I enjoy. Anyway this playlist is pretty much the kitchen sink. Lots of hyperpop, electronic, breakcore, indie, lil bit of folk, pop, digi hardcore, hip hop, d&b, and rock. All good stuff that I still like a lot.

beans 2

After updating 1 for a few months I went back home from university to CT for break. My sister had the 'family' car and everybody was working or in school--including my highschool friends and my two closest homies. That being said I pretty much just sat at home alone all day, which isn't bad when you're someplace cool. Southeastern Connecticut is not cool. This playlist is what that felt like.

beans 3

It didn't feel right to keep updating 2 after I got back to university and wasn't hating life. So 3 was born ~tah-dah! It was starting to get warm again and I was blessed with banger after banger from artists that I really love: Frost Children, Neggy Gemmy, Charli XCX etc... I also found a ton of new artists that I appreciate even more now like Kumo 99, Tanukichan, and Cibo Matto. This is my go to playlist right now, but beans 4 is under construction as we (telepathically) speak.

seth's spring songs

My friend/brother/partner-in-evil Seth (of sethcore fame) seriously has a future in music curation. He has a taste in music that is so uniquely him and I stopped trying to compete with it a long time ago. This playlist is dope. I would reccommend listening while strolling, sitting, observing, lounging, fishing on the river, building a homestead, cataloging items, or considering if it's going to be cold in the morning hot in the evening, or just cold.

I was unsure about a lot of things in my life at the end of the '23 school year, but the pieces just kinda fell into place..? I found something to do for the summer, and ended up really enjoying it! I'm making tons of new connections and meeting amazing people : ) To add un-insult to un-injury, tons of new amazing music came out this summer! I'm seeing George Clanton, DDS, and Frost Children in October and I'm so excited! AHHHH things are good : )
